Never being able to stick to one genre, Frankie’s musical journey started nearly a decade ago running free parties and local raves for the masses in his home town in South Wales. From hard dance to funky house, through electro / progressive to tech house and techno, holding weekly residencies and playing some of Swansea and Cardiff’s biggest clubs whilst having guest mixes on local radio stations.
Now co-running his own night ‘HIJACKED!’ Frankie has been involved in bringing some of the biggest names in house music to his home town. Last year alone he has played alongside the likes of ‘Kim Fai’, ‘Micky Slim’, ‘D.Ramirez’, ‘Sonny Wharton’, ‘Koen Groeneveld’ and ‘The Hoxton Whores’.
On the production side of things, Frankie has been creating some ear catching house and techno grooves. Remixing a number of old classics on Jules Spinner’s 953 Recordings Label, including ‘Bizzare Inc – Playing With Knives’ and his popular remix of ‘Bhangra Knights – Husan’ which gained radio support and featured in the labels Amsterdam Dance Event 2010 Sampler Compilation. His latest collaborations with Karl Roberts and Liam Barness have also been doing the rounds gaining radio support and getting signed to Escape Recordings and Reel House Records.
With original projects, Frankie has left no stone unturned. Fusing the elements of electro house and techno he has created some main room bangers that defy the genres of electronic music. With his releases for ‘Death Proof Recordings’ gaining support from the likes of Claude Von Stroke, Meat Katie, Lee Mortimer, Larry Tee, Filthy Rehab, Dylan Rhymes, Aquasky, Circuit Freq, Lightknife, Lee Coombs, Vandal, The Bulgarian and many more!!!
With ongoing projects and planned collaborations expect some big releases and remixes in the very near future…
